2021 Northstar Bus Lines and American Student Transportation Parade Committee

Northstar Bus Lines and American Student Transportation launched their 2021 Parade season. Each year the companies team up and participate in parades across the Twin Cities to recruit drivers. Each summer they do over 15 parades, including the Minnesota Torchlight Aquatennial. Being active in community parades drives brand awareness, driver recruitment and increases driver retention.

Northstar Bus Lines and American Student Transportation participate in parades based on the school districts they drive. Drivers that live close to base are key for driver recruitment and longevity. Therefore, the companies team up and hit every city they have routes in. Then there is work to be done. T-shirts are made for advertising, flyers are created to showcase company benefits, candy is bought, music is chosen and banners are out for display. Due to the number of families and children present at parades word of mouth advertising is used to highlight that children can come to work with you. All this is only half of what it takes to make a parade successful.

Parades are not just business, they are fun! Drivers love the chance to work together and interact with one another. It takes a team to make each parade run smoothly, everyone has a job. In addition, the parade atmosphere alone is a blast. It gets drivers excited to represent and promote their company.
